Evaluation of filming -
The day went well, I made sure I set up the extension lead and got Neve ready in her costume before everyone arrived to save us time so we could begin filming straight away, we met at Townley at 5 and everyone was on time. It was a lot more organised than our first day of filming as we didn't have to wait around for Neve to come home, we knew exactly what we had to do so got it done quickly and efficiently. We put the bruise make-up on Neve's arm then got all the extra shots done as well as the ones that we needed to redo from last time.

Evaluation of filming -
Filming was mainly successful today as we got all our shots done and more, meaning we have only a few more shots to film. A problem was that Neve wasn't available to film til around 5pm meaning that we had less time, and lighting may have been affected. However, Neve acted very professionally and took direction very well which helped the process. Also we found that the mise en scene worked quite well - the mattress and pallets helped show that the room was a basement. Also we had to paint the wall so this took some time, but luckily the area we had to paint over was quite small. So in conclusion, the day of filming was very successful.

Next time -

  • Priest/exorcist shots
  • Close up of possession make-up
  • Objects being thrown in room
